BIRD-K has won BEST STALL AWARD at Krishimela in UAS, Bangalore held from 19-11-09 to 22-11-09 under "agricultural implements category". BIRD-K had organised the display and sale of publications, promotion of agri journal, sirisamruddi, organically produced food products and display of posters regarding BIRD-K activities. Vice Chancellor Professor P.G. Changappa presented the award.
